Been working at a call center for about 3 1/2 weeks
Nice to be employed again. Even if it is something I used to do when I was 18.
Still...I had enough funds to chip in for rent, groceries, and x-mas presents.
My manager asked me if I wanted more hours today
Think I'm going to take him up on that offer
I could use the money


Drake was sick last weekend
Jackie and I came home from the Slackers show and he was feverish
He slept downstairs with me on the couch, but kept fidgeting
I told him if he threw up he would feel better
He gave me a puzzled look, nodded, and walked to the bathroom to throw up in the toilet
I went in to make sure he made it in,and he turned around and threw up on my feet
It was awesome
He's doing better
He played outside with his friends yesterday
It was super cold this weekend
Even dipped down into the mid 20s
For south Texas...that's pretty severe
Woke up Saturday morning to icy cars
Some friends even said it "snowed" in some places!?


I bought the James & The Giant Peach movie yesterday
Drake couldn't get enough of it
He told me it was his new favorite
I loved that book when I was a kid


Shopping with Jackie is fun
Even if she drags me through the womens section of clothes at every store
But I get even by dragging her through all the toy aisles
